General Directorate of Statistics of Central Bank of Turkey regularly publishes the Property Price Index (herein will be referred to as PPI) as a guideline for investors, property owners and residential buyers.

July 2016 report on PPI has been published on 28 September 2016 and according to the report, PPI got higher by 1.65% in July compared to June 2016.

The report states that the PPI is 13.98% higher compared to July 2015 which confirms that the property prices are getting higher and higher steadily regardless of the political developments. The report indicates that the unit price per square meter is 1871,04 TL in July 2016 compared to 1674,73 TL per square meter in July 2015.

Based on the report, properties located in Marmara, Ege (Aegean) and Akdeniz (Mediterranean) regions are the ones getting the higher rise in value.
